it snowed a little this morning but has stopped. tonight will be a different story when the storm starts

It's just windy, cold as heck, and getting gray and dark. It looks threatening but isn't. I have some friends that already have 18" and on their way to 24". Crazy!

Brooke, this storm that's here is NASTY! So far, we've gotten as much as 14 inches of snow. They're saying we could get up to 20 inches when this is all said and done. Oakdale, MN (which is east of St. Paul) is already reporting 20 inches of snow. The New York Giants are forced to spend the night in Kansas City. Twin Cities International had all runways closed. They have one runway open now, but Delta Air Lines has cancelled all arrivals in and departures out of MSP for the rest of the day. The south Twin Cities Metro (where I live) is in a blizzard warning until tomorrow sometime.

We just walked back from the play and it's so slippery that we're not even going to go back out on foot. The rain has changed to snow and it's coming down hard. They are saying 8-12 inches by the end of tomorrow afternoon here. We arranged to have a plow dig out our driveway but he's not coming until Sunday night. Hope we can get our SUV into the garage through all that snow when we get home tomorrow. It has 4 wheel drive so hopefully we'll make it in there. Sure don't want to park in the street while plows are doing their job.

They've actually called the plows off until 2 am tomorrow. It's been bad here...and you guys in WI are going to get it too. |

so first Viqueens/Giants game postponed, then the Metrodome collaspes and odds are they wont be playing the game in Minnesota. Likely Ford Field now Morning  Go Packers, Go Lakers, Go Pats beat the Bears! |

Metrodome officials won't know until at least tomorrow night at the earliest. Great--and now the crap about how the Viqueens need a new stadium...GRRR!!! |
